Louis Armstrong International Airport (MSY)

The Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) serves New Orleans. In the fall of 2019, a new world-class terminal opened to the public. Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport is located in Kenner, LA approximately 11 miles (20 minutes) from New Orleans' Central Business District.

Shared-Ride Shuttles: To/From Airport

Airport Shuttle operates door-to-door shared-ride shuttles to/from the airport. Purchase discounted tickets online at least 24 hours prior to your flight arrival time.

Tickets purchased at Airport Shuttle ticket booths will not be discounted. Airport Shuttle ticket booths are located in the airport on the lower level in the baggage claim area.

Rideshare (Uber)

Uber and Lyft offer transportation services from Louis Armstrong International Airport. They pick up passengers outside of Level 1 Baggage Claim on the middle curb. Learn more.

Taxi Service

New Orleans taxis have meters and offer a credit card payment option. A cab ride from Louis Armstrong International Airport is approximately $36.00 to the Central Business District or French Quarter for one or two persons. A charge of $15.00 per passenger is added for three or more passengers. Pick-up a taxi on the lower level, outside the baggage claim area.
